When you’re in a crowd with dozens of other men, it’s hard to be the one guy that the pretty girl in the room gives a second look.
She’s got a bevy of attractive men to choose from and you have to do something to catch her eye. So just how do you go about doing that?
There are classic mistakes that a lot of guys make—don’t be one of them. Avoid these certain pitfalls and walk out with her number by the end of the night!
(1) Compliment her—on something specific: Don’t merely tell the woman you’re going after that she looks good.
Pick out one thing in particular! Maybe you like the color of her dress. Is she wearing a really cool piece of jewelry that caught your eye when the light hit it the right way? Let her know!
She’ll appreciate your attention to detail. And please keep this in mind: Going straight for, “You have beautiful eyes,” or, “You have a beautiful smile,” might be something to avoid.
They’re lines that women hear frequently, meaning that they aren’t original!
If you want to whip one of those out, wait until later in the conversation until you’ve already shown her that you can be a little more creative than that.
(2) Appreciate her brains in addition to her beauty: Women don’t want to feel like a piece of meat.
There’s a lot going on beneath the surface, and they want you to pay attention to that in addition to their killer looks.
One surefire way to get a woman to notice you is to point out a personality trait of hers that you especially like. Maybe you find her to speak very intelligently; maybe you’re impressed by her great sense of humor and how much she makes you laugh.
Who do think she’s going to remember the most clearly: The man who tells her she has sexy legs, or the man who shows appreciation for the great joke she told or how knowledgeable she is about the stock market?
(3) Ignore them: WAIT and read on before you make any assumptions about this one. By “ignore,” we do NOT mean that you should blow off a woman or give her the cold shoulder in a rude, dismissive way.
Imagine this scenario: You happen to find a gorgeous woman while out one night that every other man in the room is going after. They’re throwing themselves at her—buying her drinks, asking for her number, etc.
Do you think that she’s going to be able to tell them apart? Nope. They all look the same after a certain point.
Who’s the one guy she’s probably going to notice and remember at the end of the night? The man who sat in the corner, polite and quiet, and maybe shot her a warm and friendly smile in between all of the other men who were fighting obnoxiously for her attention.
When a woman is being bombarded by men, she’ll often appreciate and notice the one who respects her space. If you feel better actually making it a move, just make sure you’re not a repeat of the last 30 guys who hit on her.
Remember, men: If you want to set yourself apart from all the other guys, you can’t do exactly what they’re doing.
Women want men who are going to respect their individuality and uniqueness, so show her how much you’re paying attention! She won’t forget you.
